The teacher lead the group to a few more areas. The bathrooms, the cafiteria, the main office, the guidence office, and some a few of the teachers and staff they should know. Mrs. Bositia, was the school's principle. She was very old, and looked like she could die at any moment. (Trust me, no one said that aloud)

"What do you think of the school so far children?" The teacher asked, suddenly looking full of energy.

Joe lagged along, getting tired of looking at the old building. They were on their way to check out the auditorium.

Boring, boring, boring and even more boring. Why should I even bother? She was bored half to death. She had to pratically drag her feet to move

The teacher turned around for an answer. He was going to say something, but stopped and examined the group. "Wasn't there more of you?" Mr. Moss asked slightly confused. Joe looked up, and it was true. 1/3 of the class had vanished. He hadn't even noticed through all his boredom. Mr. Moss just shrugged and kept walking. Joe raised an eyebrow, "Shouldn't we go look for them?"

Mr. Moss smiled, "Don't worry about it. I'm sure their fine."

"....but they weren't fine. They all had been taken by the darkness...." Auron read aloud from a book he had brought with him. He yawned, closed the cover, shut his eyes, and tilted his head back.

He opened his eyes slowly and looked up. A shadow was cast up on the ceiling. Auron tilted his head in confusion. He looked around for the source of the shadow when all of the sudden the shadow jolted towards the wall and dissapeared.

Auron jumped to his feet. His eyes quickly seached the room when a class suddenly started to file into the gym.

He hid behind a box until he was sure that he could escape. He ran.

He found himself wandering the halls now but instead of trying to get away from his class he was trying to find it. Last year, for a long time, he was afraid to be alone. He recovered after he ended his year early at anork.
And now, while he searched the halls, he found that fear upon himself again.

Mr. Moss' class was finally going back to their classroom. They turned onto the staircase and began tracking up the stairs. There was a sudden crash noise, followed by a howl of pain. A male student's foot had fallen through one of the old, wooden stairs. Blood could be seen slipping through cuts that had formed on his leg, and large splinters could be seen. Without thought, Joe raced up the rest of the stairs and looked at the student. Mr. Moss didn't freak out or panic like everyone around him. The kid sat there, too afraid to move his leg.

"Jim right?" Mr. Moss asked. The boy nodded, tears welling up his eyes. "Look, stay here, and I'll run to the class and call the nurse to help you." He sounded really calm. The boy looked uneasy, but didn't say anything. The teacher hopped up the stairs, "Come on class." He said quickly, and began herding the children towards class.

Smiles at the only action that there was at this idiotic school. Sat down near the guy. "How badly does the wound hurt?"

Jim huffed a bit, a tear slipped from the corner of his eye. "A-A lot." He stammered. He was hunched over a bit, grasping the injured leg at the knee with both hands. His breathing was uneasy.

Joe had noticed a girl that stayed behind with Jim, He felt kind of bad for not staying with the kid himself, but the teacher had pushed him along.

Auron was now sprinting down the hall. He began to decend the staircase he had recently climbed. From the top of the stairs he could see two students sitting on the stairs. Auron didn't think much of it until he got closer and saw that one of the students was crying and his leg has gone throught the stairs. "Are you okay???" he asked.
"y-yeah...mr. moss went t-to go get the nurse." the student wiped his tears away.
"Uh..okay then...well, where did the rest of the class go?"
The girl answered him. "He took them back to class"
Auron didn't say anything else. He began running towards the class room at full speed. As he approached the class room he slowed and peered through the door way. He saw Mr. Moss on the phone. He slipped into the class and sat down. the class turned and stared at him. Auron's heart was pounding. 'it was nothing' He thought. 'i was probably seeing things he took a deep breath and laid his head down.

"Yes. Uh-huh. Staircase. Alright. Bye." Mr. Moss hung up the phone and examined his class. The class looked a lot smaller now that everyone was sitting within such a large room. "Well, there don't seem to be enough people for what I wanted to do. So I'll just give you an easy assignment to work on. It's pretty much a questionaire to answer about yourself. It's always good for a teacher to know their students."

Joe looked at Auron with a bit of concern. he noticed that he had disappeared from the group while they were walking. /Where did he go?/ he asked himself. "Thank you." He said without thinking as Mr. Moss gave him a sheet.

Joe looked over the questions.

"Name. Gender. Favorite Class. Favorite color. Shoe size? Blood type? Diet? Are you allergic to any metals? Are you a fast runner? Any sicknesses?" As Joe whispered the questions to himself, he began to notice how outragous they were beginning to get.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jim turned at the sound of footsteps. "Hopefully that's the nurse.." Jim sighed. Turning the corner, a dark looking, buff man appeared in a white outfit. He walked up the stairs towards them. He was freakishly tall to be so buff. "I'm the nurse." He explained. Jim looked like he chocked on his spit.
Blinks at the guy. "A nurse??"  Shocked "Okay. Backing away very very slowly." Backs away from the 'Nurse' and runs into the class. Holy crap. That's not a nurse. Just a freaky guy in a nurses outfit. Don't panic. Easier said than done.
Auron lifts his head as Mr. Moss hands him the questionarre. he reaches for the paper but Mr. Moss held on for a second and their eyes met. mr. Moss seemed to grin a little bit and continued handing out the papers. Auron didn't like the vibes he was getting from the teacher one year ago and he didn't like them now.
Mr. Moss turned his head as he watched a girl run into the class. "Got a bit lost did we?" He questioned. When he finished passing out the papers, he went up and sat at his desk. He began writing some thing down quickly. As everyone seemed to be into their questionaires, a number of quick lights flickered out in the hallway. Joe looked up, intrigued. The hallway was suddenly pitch black.
"Don't worry. The lights in the hallway just went out. They do that sometimes. We'll get new ones this week." The teacher said, not looking up from his work.
Joe coiled back in his chair a little. The hallways were literally.. pitch dark. The dull lights of the classroom didn't do much. It was the large windows on the side of the room that gave most of the light. It was a gray day outside. Possibly storm later.
